Slice, Dice & Chop: Knife Skills Class
In Montclair this summer: new recipes and fun each week, for adults and kids entering 6th grade and up.
Here's What Students are learning:
Week 1 - Slicing, knife care and safety, including sharpening and cleaning; with recipes
Week 2 - Dicing, mirepoix and more, with recipes
Week 3 - Chopping: when rough is right; choosing, storing, stemming and prepping herbs and more, with recipes
Week 4 - Chiffonade, shaving, shredding and zesting, with recipes
Week 5 - Oddball items: avocados, mangoes and more, with recipes
Week 6 - Makeup, questions and review; test, certificates and celebration!
