Pink for Africa Benefit Event
SUNDAY 3/10, join us for FREE African Pink Cocktails and a Taste of Africa Hors d’Oeuvre in support of the Pink for Africa Benefit Event at the Hampton House Pop Up in Montclair!
Pink for Africa is a non-profit founded by our fellow Pop Up vendor Juls Mills-Lutterodt of Juls Collection Italian Leather Handbags. The organization helps African and African-American women diagnosed with breast cancer, and tears down cultural and social mores to improve outcomes for women.
Here’s what’s happening at the event:
Starting at 2pm at the Adventure Kitchen Spice Bar: Sample free African Pink Cocktails (with or without alcohol) and Taste of Africa hors d’oeuvres, created by our founder Lynley Jones for this event
Ribbon-cutting by a special guest, and fashion show starting at 3pm
Super-talented 8 year-old DJ (!!) spinning party music all afternoon
Shop our African spice collection and pick up recipes and ideas to incorporate African flavors into your cooking
Shop over a dozen other local vendors for home decor, clothing, jewelry, crafts, and more
A portion of your purchase from Juls Collection and all participating vendors will benefit Pink for Africa
It’s all happening at the Hampton House Pop Up in downtown Montclair., where there’s always something spicy going on at the Adventure Kitchen Popup Spice Shop. You can stock up on spices, have a drink and find something interesting in our Curious Cook’s Bookshop.

Korerima (also known as Ethiopian Black Cardamom or Grains of Paradise) has an assertive and pungent flavor, with a hint of smoke and licorice, and a mild astringency that catches in the back of your throat.
