Serves 4-6
Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
3 Tablespoons Grand Marnier liqueur
Instructions
1. In a small, heavy saucepan, combine sugar and cream. Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula to combine (but avoid vigorously whisking, so you don't make whipped cream). Warm over medium-low heat until the sugar has fully dissolved into the cream. Adjust the heat as needed to dissolve the sugar without allowing the cream to boil. This should take roughly 5-8 minutes.
2. Turn off heat, then stir in the Grand Marnier. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes:
You can make this ahead and store covered in the refrigerator for a week or two.
